About Olga Melikoff

One of the main interests in my life has been education and, more specifically, second-language learning. I was a founding parent of the St. Lambert experiment in French immersion, the first program of its kind in the public school system of Canada.

I studied Russian with Vladimir Nabokov for two years. I majored in French at Wellesley College, studied at the Sorbonne in Paris for a summer, and earned a Master of Arts degree in Second Language Teaching at the Université de Montréal. I taught English as a second language in the Federal Public Service for five years in the 1970’s.
